- 1 bunch turnips cut into wedges
- 3 TBS butter
- 2 TBS honey
- 2 TBS stock or water
- 1/4 tsp salt
- optional: 1 leek chopped fine
- Place all ingredients except honey in a medium pot with a lid and bring to a simmer.
- Cook the turnips and leeks until they are tender, about 12 mins.
- Add the honey and stir well and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
- Serve warm and add extra salt if desired to make the flavors pop
