What area do you deliver to?
Our service area covers the greater Los Angeles Area , San Fernando Valley, Pasadena, and Conejo Valley. You can search your zipcode on our delivery map here. Deliveries are Sunday thru Thursday depending on your zipcode.
Where does the produce come from?
All of the produce in our boxes is Organic and local from a network of organic farms in Southern California. The farms we work with all have different specialties: citrus fruits, apples, salad greens, vegetables, etc., which means that each week you will enjoy a variety of delicious seasonal foods. Can I choose what comes in the box?
Your subscription includes an assortment of at least 5-12 types of seasonal foods picked at their peak ripeness. It varies each week of the season based on availability. If you’d like to modify the assortment that you’re receiving please email us! Many of our customers have told us that the boxes (and recipes we send) have helped them discover new foods that they now love.
What if I do not like something in my share?
If you are allergic to or abhor a particular variety of food, please let us know. Please email us and we will do our best to adjust your box contents.
What if I get a bad fruit/veg?
While this should not be the case since we have 3 levels of quality control, the produce IS organic and can spoil rapidly sometimes, so we are always happy to replace anything that arrives unusable. Your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not completely satisfied with the produce you receive, please email us so we can help to make sure you’re completely satisfied.
Can I change or edit my order? Am I locked in for a season?
You can change your box size or subscription at anytime! We just ask you to give us a heads up by the Wednesday night before your upcoming delivery so we can plan then harvest accordingly. Some families love to get the All Fruit box for the summer for example then switch to the Half box in the winter, or upgrade to the family box the weeks you’ll have family visiting from out of town, etc etc. You can also add grocery items to your box as a single order or weekly, and you may email us to exclude/swap items as well. Your subscription will continue weekly/every-other week, whichever you choose, until you cancel/edit which you can do anytime by the Weds 5pm deadline.
Is there a delivery fee?
There is a $6.95 delivery fee for home deliveries to keep our service sustainable. If you’d like to save on that, we have pick up sites available as well that don’t have a deliver fee. Here’s our current list of Delivery Sites.
How do your boxes support schools?
We have partnered with over 50 schools in the LA area to raise 5% for school with every box delivered to your door. Just email us to link up your subscription with your school or enter your school’s name in the “how did you hear about us” box.
What if I cannot make it on my delivery day to pick up or am out of town?
You can put a box on hold by going to your account and clicking on the calendar day you wish to hold. All holds and changes must be placed the Wednesday prior to the upcoming delivery week (by 5pm). You can also arrange for a friend or family member to pick up your box. We are not responsible for any boxes not picked up on the delivery day.
How do I pay?
You can pay securely on our website with any major credit card and the after your first order, which runs when you hit “complete”, the subsequent boxes will be charged to your card at 5pm on the Weds before your next box. Your subscription will continue uninterrupted unless you modify your order. You may hold or cancel at anytime and will not be charged as long as you place your hold before the deadline. If your credit card does not run, your subscription will still be active and you will be billed retroactively.
Can I purchase as a gift?
If you’d like to gift a multi-week subscription to a friend or family member simply email us for assistance or sign up with their information and just shoot us an email to let us know how many weeks you’d like the subscription to continue for. We also have gift boxes available as add-ons during the holidays.
