  • 1 bunch turnips cut into wedges
  • 3 TBS butter
  • 2 TBS honey
  • 2 TBS stock or water
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • optional: 1 leek chopped fine


  • Place all ingredients except honey in a medium pot with a lid and bring to a simmer.
  • Cook the turnips and leeks until they are tender, about 12 mins.
  • Add the honey and stir well and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  • Serve warm and add extra salt if desired to make the flavors pop
